1. Dishwasher + Prep Assistant
Part-Time | Saturdays + Sundays | 9am–1pm
Beara Bakes is looking for a reliable, organized, and thoughtful person to join our weekend team as a Dishwasher + Prep Assistant.
This role is a mix of dishwashing, kitchen support, and light food prep. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and running smoothly during busy weekend service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, takes pride in staying organized, and likes being part of a small, collaborative kitchen team.
Responsibilities
Washing dishes, sheet trays, utensils, mixing bowls, and kitchen equipment
Keeping the dish area clean and organized throughout service
Taking out trash and maintaining general kitchen cleanliness
Assisting with light food prep and basic baking tasks as needed
Supporting the kitchen team wherever needed during service
What We’re Looking For
Dependable and punctual
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Able to stay organized and work independently
Positive attitude and willingness to help
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Kitchen or dish experience is helpful, but not required

2. Full-Time Baker’s Assistant
Beara Bakes is looking for a full-time baker to join our small, dedicated team. This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys working with dough, repetition, early mornings, and being part of a collaborative kitchen that values care, consistency, and craft.

Beara Bakes is a community-focused bakery rooted in seasonal menus, thoughtful sourcing, and doing things the right way—even when it takes more time. We make everything in-house and work as a tight team to support daily service, special events, and monthly offerings like Supper Club and Night Beara.
The Role
A hands-on production role focused on the daily production of seasonal pastries. You’ll be responsible for executing recipes consistently, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting the flow of the kitchen from prep through service.
This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and comfort with early mornings and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
Prepare, mix, shape, bake, and finish a variety of breads and pastries
Execute recipes consistently while maintaining quality and efficiency
Assist with daily prep and production planning
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
Properly label, store, and rotate ingredients and finished products
Support special projects, menu changes, and events as needed
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and leadership
Qualifications
Previous experience working in a professional kitchen (bakery or restaurant)
Comfortable with early morning shifts and weekend availability
Ability to work on your feet for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Strong sense of responsibility, cleanliness, and time management
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work as part of a team
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time, hourly position
Early mornings and weekends required
Pay based on experience/negotiable
